Christoph Habegger

Educational Director

Christoph Habegger completed his training with Dr Carl Ginsburg in Lewes, England. He has been practicing for over 20 years and has gained a lot of experience in Feldenkrais trainings as an organizer and teacher. He is co-director of the Feldenkrais Training Zurich City 2 and teaches in international trainings in Europe and Asia.

His education in acting and singing at the Vienna Conservatory was followed by further training in breathing and voice pedagogy.Christoph was a university teacher at the University of Dance, Music and Drama in Linz and is regularly invited to teach workshops at universities in Europe. He is a Atem-Tonus-Ton trainer and offers training programs in Vienna. He also completed the Embodied Life School with Russell Delman and combines the Feldenkrais Method with meditation and Focusing.

Christoph grew up in Switzerland, is married and has lived in Vienna for over 30 years.

Elizabeth Beringer

Elisabeth Beringer has been involved with the practice and development of the Feldenkrais Method for more than 40 years and is one of the foremost Feldenkrais teachers and trainers. She studied directly with the founder of the Method, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, in both the U.S. and Israel between 1976 and 1983.

Elizabeth has maintained an ongoing and varied private practice, applying the Feldenkrais approach with a diverse population including those with severe movement limitations, seniors, musicians, children and those in chronic pain. She has also worked extensively with athletes, martial artists and dancers and is known for her ability to apply the Method in dynamic situations. (Elizabeth has practiced the martial art of aikido since 1977 and currently holds the rank of 6th-degree black belt.)

She travels extensively teaching in postgraduate and practitioner training programs in Europe, Australia and across the U.S. In addition to her Feldenkrais practice Elizabeth has studied numerous other somatic disciplines. More recently she has pursued the study of the cognitive sciences and her current teaching integrates current advances in the cognitive sciences into the Feldenkrais perspective.

Thomas Farnbacher

Thomas directs and co-directs FELDENKRAIS® trainings in Spain, Portugal and Russia. His professional backgrounds are martial arts, work with special needs children, massage, physical therapy, and dance.

In the fields of somatics, salutogenesis and body-oriented psychotherapy, “Educating the Educator” became his most inspired occupation. The most satisfying for him is to see people thriving and becoming more and more embodied-being more and more their own self.

Angelica Feldmann

Angelica Feldmann, M.A., resides in Zürich, Switzerland. She has been an international Feldenkrais Trainer since 2006. Angelica has worked around the world in many Feldenkrais trainings and is the Educational Director of her own trainings in Switzerland. She has a master’s degree in educational science and a background in dance, improvisation and work with the voice.

Angelica’s approach is unique, as she brings into her teaching her large spectrum of training and experience in different schools and methods of movement and mindfulness, all related to somatic learning and the science of movement. In her work, she facilitates the understanding of the depth of the Feldenkrais Method in a unique way and establishes novel interdisciplinary connections, as well.

Mara Fusero

Dr. Mara Fusero is a certified Feldenkrais Trainer from 2010 and graduated in physiotherapy and psychology. She is Educational Director of Italian and international trainings and, since 1999, she has been Scientific Director of her “Centro Feldenkrais” in Milan.

Founding member of AIIMF (Italian Association of Feldenkrais® Practitioners), she is also a certified teacher of the Jeremy Krauss Approach (JKA®), Periné, Integración y Movimiento (PIYM) and a Bones for Life® Trainer.

Her academic and professional background has a profound impact on her style of teaching, enriching it in accuracy, knowledge and applications of the functional anatomy. Mara is a passionate teacher with a practical approach, which functionally integrates theoretical concepts in everyday life.

Petra Camilla Koch

Petra Camilla Koch received her training (1980 to 1983) from Moshe Feldenkrais in the US and Israel. She is a former physiotherapist . After many years of beeing an assistant in Feldenkrais Trainings she became Trainer of the Method in 1997. Since 2005 she is the Educational Director of the Feldenkrais Trainings in Hamburg.

She taught in the USA, in Mexiko, Norway, Italy, Switzerland, France, Japan, Australia and was the Educational Director of the FTPT in Wellington / New Zealand 2007-2010.

Petra’s teaching style is dialogical and has an outgoing attitude. Influences that form her style is among others her trauma therapy training /Peter Levine and 20 years of membership in the Ridhvan School, a depth psychologically oriented, spiritual school.

Paul Newton

Paul Newton is a Feldenkrais trainer since 2001, working with the method since we completed his training in 1987. He is the Educational director in several programs in Europe in China and he's a trainer in many others, including Australia, Japan, Mexico, Argentina.

Paul's background gives him a wide base to grow from. He studied Psychology and focused on Gestalt Therapy. He studied dance and choreography at the Merce Cunningham Studio and he studied performing arts at Folkwang Hochschule in Essen.

As a trainer Paul is very open and precise. He is also accessable to his students.

Paul is well respected for the magic of his FIs. All in all he is one of the most trainers globally.

Julie Peck

Julie Peck graduated as a Feldenkrais Practitioner in 1990. She has been learning, expanding and refining her understanding of the Method since then.

She run her private practice. She is an Educational Director, she teaches in both trainings and advanced trainings where she shares her experiences with colleagues, students and clients.

Her particular joy is in finding ways to allow others to develop their passion, to direct their learning and to help them find their own way of teaching and passing the the work to others.

She co-authored the recently published “Moving From the Inside Out”

Philipp Unseld

Phil is a teuton musician who got immersed in the Feldenkrais Method in 1988 due to the consequences of a knee injury. He graduated from the first professional training program in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1998. Since 2002 he is living with his family in Barcelona, Spain, where he has a successful private practice. For the last 15 years, he has been profoundly involved in Feldenkrais trainings in Spain, Argentina, México, Canada, Switzerland, France and Germany and became himself an international Feldenkrais Trainer in 2020.

He holds a Master's degree in the development of infant and child movements in early childhood (Cologne, Germany 2004-2006) under the direction of Dr. Chava Shelhav.

He is the author of a book (in Spanish language) about the development of movement in the early childhood (‘The Microcosm of Movement‘; Herder Editorials ©2018).

In addition, he is trained and certified in 'Somatic Experiencing' (traumahealing.com), a neurobiological methodology to increase the resilience of the nervous system and heal traumatic experiences.

He is also still active as a musician and composer.
